When I first heard that some people were making $10,000 a month from blogging, I didn’t believe it. I thought, “Who’s even reading blogs these days?”

The writers hitting $10K+ are usually in niches like personal finance, health, lifestyle, tech, or business. Basically, topics people actually search for because they want solutions.

2. They Write What People Are Searching For

Blogging isn’t just about “writing.” It’s about solving problems. High earners focus on content like “How to save $500 a month” or “Best tools for working from home.” 

They use SEO (search engine optimization) to make sure their posts actually show up on Google, which means free traffic over and over again.

3. Multiple Income Streams

Here’s the real trick—bloggers don’t rely on just one way to earn. Their $10K usually comes from a mix of:

• Ad revenue (those display ads you see on blog posts).
• Sponsored posts (brands paying them to feature products).
• Digital products (ebooks, templates, or courses).
• Services (like coaching, consulting, or freelancing).

Even if each income stream only brings in $2K–$3K, together it stacks up fast.

If you want to make blogging your thing, don’t think of it as a hobby—think of it as building a little online business. Start small, write consistently, and diversify your income streams.
