1. Get Paid To Review Books
Websites like Kirkus Media, Online Book Club, and Publishers Weekly pay readers to review new books.
Payments range anywhere from $20–$60 per review, depending on length and detail. Knock out a couple of reviews a day and you’re already halfway to $120.
2. Proofreading & Editing
A lot of indie authors publish their work through Amazon Kindle or self-publishing platforms, and they need proofreaders.
Platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and Reedsy are filled with gigs where you can make $15–$30 per hour correcting grammar and flow. If you spend 3–4 hours daily, you can hit your target easily.
3. Audiobook Narration
If you’re comfortable reading aloud, audiobook narration is a high-paying gig. Websites like ACX (Amazon’s Audiobook Exchange) let you audition for projects.
Beginners can earn $50–$100 per finished hour, and experienced narrators make even more.
4. Get Paid To Read Aloud for Apps
Some apps pay for voice recording and narration, especially for educational material. They don’t always pay as much as audiobooks, but you can still earn $25–$40 an hour if you get steady work.
5. Start a Book Blog or YouTube Channel
