Lately, I’ve been diving into these weird little online gigs where people are making earnings like $175/day replying to comments on Facebook, or $256/day doing writing assistant job on Quora, etc. (yep, seriously!). I’m making money using these ideas as well on a daily basis.

Personally, I’ve managed to make an extra $400 every single month with little side hustles I can do on my own time.
Here’s my list of 10 side hustles that actually work for me 👇
1. Freelance Writing ✍️
I pick up small writing gigs on platforms like Fiverr and Upwork. Even short blog posts or product descriptions can bring in $20–$30 a piece, which adds up fast.
2. Taking Online Surveys 📝
This isn’t a “get rich” hustle, but I use Swagbucks and Survey Junkie during downtime (like waiting at the doctor’s office). It gives me an extra $30–$50 a month.
3. Selling Old Stuff Online 📦
Every month I clear out clothes, gadgets, or books I don’t use and sell them on eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Easy $100 some months.
4. Affiliate Links on Social Media 🔗
I share affiliate products I like on Pinterest and Instagram. Even just a few clicks turn into commissions — usually around $50–$70/month.
5. Microtasks on Amazon MTurk 💻
These are small online jobs (like categorizing images or short surveys). It’s not glamorous, but I make about $40–$60 a month without much effort.
6. Testing Websites & Apps 📱
Sites like UserTesting pay me $10–$20 per test. I usually do 2–3 per week, which easily adds $100+ per month.
7. Pet Sitting / Dog Walking 🐶
On weekends, I use Rover to walk dogs or pet sit for neighbors. It’s fun (I love animals) and pays around $15–$20 per session.
8. Reselling Thrift Store Finds 🛒
Sometimes I hit local thrift shops, grab cheap items, and flip them online. Just one good find can make me $30–$40 profit.
9. Virtual Assistant Tasks 💼
A few hours a week helping small business owners with emails or scheduling nets me about $50–$75 per month.
10. Content Creation (YouTube/Blogging) 🎥
I don’t make thousands (yet), but ads and affiliate links from my small blog and YouTube channel bring in about $50 a month consistently.
None of these side hustles on their own would cover my rent or bills. But together? They give me a reliable extra $400/month. And the best part?
They’re flexible — I can do them on evenings, weekends, or whenever I have spare time.
The trick is to stack a few small income streams instead of relying on one big hustle. That’s how you win the side hustle game.
